Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais is a wonderful place that combines history, nature and relaxation for the whole family. Its history goes back more than a century and a half. Since the first half of the 16th century, this space was used as a farm for recreation and production. However, in 1944, after the acquisition of Visconde da Gandarinha, this space was transformed into a romantic park.

Today the park offers visitors wide lawns, herbaceous and shrub beds, as well as a forest with large trees and well-groomed paths. There are also lakes, picnic and play areas, as well as a cafeteria with a terrace and a beautiful lake with ducks, creating a peaceful atmosphere. 

The park has a special playground for children, divided into three zones for different age groups. In addition, there is a municipal children’s and youth library.
